Employment Policies In Combating Unemployment And Reactive Policies Applied In The Period Of The Pandemia

Since Covid-19 was declared a pandemic by the World Health Organization on March 11, 2020, national and global problems have emerged in various fields. Due to the pandemic, which still causes many people to die, countries have had to take partial and full closure decisions from time to time in order to minimize physical contact in order to prevent the spread of the disease in the community. With these closure decisions, the masses struggled for a long time in isolation at home.

Although the fight against the Covid-19 Pandemic started in the field of health in the first place, due to the negative effects of the pandemic, this struggle was reflected in various fields such as social, economic, cultural and education over time. Countries have also put in place immediate action policies in order to get rid of the negative effects of the pandemic with the least damage. In this context, one of the most affected areas requiring urgent intervention and struggle has been employment. Various support and aid packages have been introduced in most countries within the scope of emergency action policies for employment. In this context, in order to overcome the employment problem brought by the pandemic, countries have primarily tried to protect employment with reactive policies with high ability to respond quickly.

Planning the Distribution Network of the Electronics Firm with the Transportation Model

Transportation costs are a vital factor for businesses in today's intense competition. While competing, companies have to offer their products for sale with minimum cost and deliver them to the customer as quickly as possible. Therefore, transportation activities need to be optimized. The problem of product distribution to the customers of the electronics firm operating in Istanbul is handled in this study. To meet demand, products should be delivered from factories in three different cities to customers in nine different cities. In the study, the Vogel Approximation Method (VAM) was used to find the initial suitable solution, and the MODI method was used to find the optimum transportation cost. Then, the problem was solved with the linear programming model in the GAMS program and the results obtained according to both methods were compared. As a result of this study, the best distribution plan that gives the least transportation cost for the electronics firm has been obtained.

Reasons for Divorce in Kyrgyzstan and Social Influences for Kyrgyz People

In recent years, there have been great and radical developments in the field of science, technology, and culture. As a result of these developments, the social structure has undergone serious changes and transformations. The reflection of these changes in social structures sometimes manifests positively and sometimes negatively. One of the social structures most affected by these changes and transformations, and perhaps the most important one, is undoubtedly the family institution. A strong society in every respect is possible with a strong family structure. The family has been accepted as one of the social institutions that has never lost its importance since the emergence of humanity on the stage of history. Family formation is possible through marriage. Just as starting a family is an undeniable truth, the end of that family union is an undeniable fact. The end of the marriage system, first emotionally and then legally, is to be accepted as "Divorce". Divorce is one of the most current problems that continues to increase day by day in the whole world and in Kyrgyzstan in particular. Divorces in Kyrgyzstan are increasing compared to previous periods. In this article, the reasons for divorce in Kyrgyzstan and its effects on the Kyrgyz people are discussed. Although there are studies in this field in Kyrgyzstan, they are not sufficient. Two goals stand out in this article. The first is to raise awareness by pointing out that the divorce phenomenon continues to increase in the Kyrgyz family structure and that if solutions are not produced, the social structure will suffer a serious blow. The second is to contribute to those who will do research in this field.
